Vernal Retreat: June 17-18, 2017
Let Nature's Peace Flow Into You
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
Join us Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 to experience silence and solitude on Questhaven's trails (or in the Church) to tune into the inner side of nature—using ALL your senses!
9:00 a.m.—Introduction at The Church of the Holy Quest followed by a recording of In Nature's Glories are Great Lessons, a talk given by the Reverend Flower A. Newhouse in 1968.
10:00 a.m.—Nature Attunement Walk
(bring your journal, and a camera if you'd like, to record your impressions. Water will be provided.)
12:00 p.m.—Sharing followed by lunch at Friendship House
(bring your own sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.)
10:45 a.m.—Sunday Service at the Church of the Holy Quest
Our speakers will be:

The Value of Solitude, Richard Boult
